About the team
At Roku, our Ads Measurement, Data Collaboration, and Identity product team is building products and collaborating with industry leaders in the data and measurement space to create solutions to measure the impact of CTV Media on advertiser outcomes effectively. The product team works cross-functionally to understand advertiser needs and market opportunities, analyzes data to draw insights and learnings, collaborates on a thoughtful go-to-market plan to drive the success of the latest features, and works hand-in-hand across multiple engineering, Data Science, and UX teams. The product team's largest contribution is to provide the what and why strategy backed by data for feature development and ensure the success of the business line.
About the role
The Senior Product Manager, Data Collaboration role for Roku’s Ad Platform is a highly technical and data-driven position that focuses on enabling secure data collaboration with partners through Roku’s cleanroom and other data interfaces. This role requires a deep understanding of the advertising technology stack, the third-party measurement ecosystem, data flow concepts, and the evolving identity landscape in advertising.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in product management and data analytics, with a proven ability to design and implement solutions that facilitate secure data sharing and collaboration between Roku and its partners, including measurement vendors, top global brands, and D2C advertisers. You will work to address challenges in measurement, data onboarding, and analytics, leveraging cleanroom technologies to ensure user privacy and compliance while enabling partners to drive actionable insights and quantify ad effectiveness.
In addition, this role involves identifying new market opportunities, defining product features with clear "what/why" statements, and understanding customer needs to deliver impactful solutions. You will also play a key role in integrating with third-party measurement solutions to enhance the accuracy of CTV ad measurement and performance. Success in this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, marketing, and sales, to deliver innovative products that meet the needs of Roku’s advertising partners.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the development and enhancement of Roku’s Cleanroom capabilities, ensuring privacy-safe data collaboration and compliance with modern data privacy standards.
- Drive data integrations with Roku's ecosystem partners, including measurement vendors, to enable seamless data sharing and collaboration.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, including data models and processing workflows.
- Build and evolve products that generate insights around the effectiveness of Roku media spend towards advertiser outcomes
- Create and communicate product strategy, roadmap, plans, and progress to stakeholders
- Stay on top of industry trends in the advertising ecosystem, particularly focusing on data privacy and measurement challenges
- Define metrics and KPIs you will use to measure the success of your products
We're excited if you have
- 3+ years of product management experience with a focus on ad tech, data platforms, or ad measurement/analytics products
- Direct experience with cleanroom platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Habu) and a strong understanding of data privacy fundamentals (e.g., differential privacy)
- A technical product mindset and are a “systems thinker” with an understanding of how APIs, databases, and data pipelines interact across an ad tech ecosystem, with the ability to write clear technical requirements and collaborate effectively with engineers
- Familiarity with ad measurement methodologies and underlying data, including attribution, lift testing, and MMM
- Familiarity with identity resolution methodologies, data and solutions
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; comfort leveraging large amounts of data to drive decisions, ability to break down complex data and business problems into structured, logical solutions; comfort with SQL
- Experience working cross-functionally with global engineering, data science, legal, product marketing, and sales teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience presenting to customers and executive leaders and aligning diverse stakeholders toward common goals.
