About the Team
The Core Payments team plays a pivotal role in Roku's remarkable growth, particularly in the online subscriptions space, by enabling a seamless, in-streaming, on-TV purchase experience. Core Payments supports a wide range of teams across Roku, serving multiple consumer interfaces such as TV, web, mobile, and advertising. These teams leverage unique strategies to sell digital content, including Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD), Transactional Video on Demand (TVOD), Roku-branded devices, and shoppable ads directly on devices.
About the Role:
As a member of the Core Payments team, you will focus on enhancing Roku’s Payouts Platform, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to create and improve solutions that deliver a world-class experience. Your contributions will be key to advancing Roku's global disbursement capabilities and ensuring seamless partner integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the Payouts Platform: Contribute to the development and optimization of Roku’s payout platform, facilitating partner onboarding and global disbursement processing.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to design and implement tools and technologies that automate Roku's partner disbursement workflows.
- Feature Delivery: Lead the creation of user stories and manage the full lifecycle of new feature delivery, from concept to execution.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and maintain performance standards for partner onboarding, transaction processing, money movement, and platform functionality. Drive improvements to boost efficiency and reduce payment friction for partners.
- Operational Support: Assist operational teams by analyzing incidents and implementing workarounds. Proactively devise solutions to minimize risks and impacts to both internal and external stakeholders.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all payout-related processes and procedures adhere to regulatory requirements, and that they are well documented and consistently implemented across the organization.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in payments product management, program management, preferably with global experience within Payouts, Cross Border, FX.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field.
- Functional knowledge of money movement across various payment rails; ACH, EFT, SEPA, SWIFT etc.
- Understanding of compliance, AML and fraud checks.
- Passionate about what you do and excited about the opportunity to transform payments.
- Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently with little oversight.
